Charyse Magdangal is a Biology student. She is President of Filipino Student Association, and she volunteers at Gentiva Hospice. She is a firm believer in education, medical innovation, preventative care, evidence-based medicine, and the importance of primary care. Public health, health disparities, politics, and world issues motivate her to serve her community. She enjoys family bonding, weightlifting, kickboxing, cooking, and binge watching shows like The Office and Game of Thrones. She aspires to pursue a Masters in Public Health and to become a physician in internal medicine or orthopedics. For the magazine, she desires to bridge the gap between peer-reviewed works and communicating that knowledge to the readers, effectively disseminating science and healthcare information.
