Fibromyalgia syndrome is a latent disease. If you suffer from fibromyalgia symptoms, it is important that you learn to diagnose fibromyalgia. Unfortunately, the diagnosis of fibromyalgia left to the family doctor can take years. Partly due to the fact that there may be as many symptoms that any disease can be, and many practitioners still refuse to believe in the existence of fibromyalgia.

The first step in diagnosing fibromyalgia is keeping a diary.

Write down all your symptoms from the moment you woke up. Describe your pain upon awakening, was there rigidity? Does the pain decrease after you get up a little and start moving? It is getting worse?

Keep a record of everything and, hopefully, in one or two weeks you will see an image appear. The symptoms of fibromyalgia are chronic pain in all four quadrants of the body, lasting three months or more. The pain goes from weakness to deep pain, as if you were doing a full-body exercise, a burning pain, as if you were hit by a hot poker, some throbbing pains that really surprised you, a throbbing pain and only agony, the worst type of pain

The fibromyalgia syndrome also causes fatigue, which is so great that you feel like you’ve been hit by a Mack truck. Again, the fatigue changes during the day, but people often describe it as manageable, until they get on this truck and then they just have to lie down in bed.
